Bring your sharpest eyes

Help solve it.

Cases like my mother’s can move forward because one ordinary person remembers one detail. If you research missing-persons cases, or you simply won’t let this rest, here is everything you need to help, and how to do it responsibly, without causing harm.

Where she vanished

The Shore Club, Collins Avenue, Miami Beach

Around 4 a.m. on January 6, 2002, Alysha is believed to have left the Shore Club hotel on the 1900 block of Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. According to the last known person to see her, she was going to get something to eat. She never returned. Leads you can actually help with

Five questions. Answer one, and you move this case.

01

Who else was on Collins Avenue in the early hours of January 6, 2002?

Alysha was last known to have left the Shore Club at around 4 a.m. If you were nearby, or worked at a hotel, restaurant, bar or other venue, you may remember seeing her, or noticing who she was with.

02

Who knew her in Los Angeles?

Alysha travelled regularly between LA and Miami. This period of her life remains one of the least understood. If you knew her there, however briefly, your memories could help fill important gaps.

03

Who knew Krsangi or Yami in the Hare Krishna community?

Many people knew Alysha by her devotee names, Krsangi or Yami, rather than Alysha. If you knew her through the Hare Krishna community, you may hold memories or photographs that could help.

04

Did anyone see or hear from her after January 6, 2002, anywhere?

There is no confirmed sighting after that morning. A single credible one, from anywhere in the world, would change everything.

05

Who has photographs, letters, or recordings of her?

New images help people recognise her, and can carry details, places, dates, faces, that no one has connected yet.

The rules of the search

How to help, and how not to.

Please do

  • Share her face: the video, a poster, this page.
  • Submit anything you remember, however small, through the tip line.
  • Discuss the case respectfully on the board.
  • Cross-check the public records (NamUs, The Charley Project).

Please don’t

  • Name or accuse individuals publicly. It can devastate innocent people and harm the real investigation.
  • Post rumours or theories as if they were fact.
  • Contact or confront anyone connected to her.
  • Repeat unverified claims from forums as truth.
